the whisper of wind
touching cool against the skin
this misty morning
We woke up early and headed to Livermore to help with a garage sale of Xmas stuff. Alas, we sold nothing and packed it up early. It was nice sitting outside in the sunshine but it was a bit cold too. I tethered my netbook to my phone and streamed music. I love technology. LOL
I know how you feel, selling nothing. I have so much STUFF that nobody wants to buy and sometimes it’s hard to give away! For example, how could I possibly have such lousy taste in comic books?? Fooled by all those throw-away No. 1’s and crossovers the publishers tempt us with. MY MOTHER WAS RIGHT — Don’t waste your money, save it! On the other hand, the Daredevils I sold for a pittance years ago could solve all my problems now! The one I have of any value is the one I want to keep, the only one Mother ever gave me, when I was sick. Bless her. But that doesn’t have anything to do with beautiful nature photos. lol
I think the stuff the MIL had for sale would probably be best sold to a collector or a store that sells such collectibles. I know that I myself probably don’t have such nice stuff. LOL
