I positively LOVE having Mondays off from work. It just feels good and right. Three day weekends FTW! 🙂
Of course, that doesn’t mean I’ve done anything very constructive. Still, it’s nice to just sit at home and recharge, right? Too bad it isn’t helping my writing at all.
I’m not even sure why I care that my writing is at a standstill. It’s not as if anyone reads my stories because I never post them (unless they’re for NaNoWriMo). Yet I feel adrift without the anchor of my imagination taking me to far off places.
Maybe I need to read more.
Speaking of books, I’m currently reading The Lightning Thief. I can already say that I like it better than the movie and I’m not even halfway through it. LOL! I’m always a sucker for Greek mythology themed fiction, so why not? 😉
Mad Men – We watched the season opener today. I haven’t watched the show from the beginning but the episodes I have seen have been pretty good. The opener was good. What is it about Don Draper? Rarr.
