I always think I don’t care about the Olympics but when it comes around I get totally sucked in to the different events. I must say that I find NBC’s coverage utterly lacking. The Opening Ceremony was great except for the asinine commentary that annoyed me especially during the musical sequences. Who thought it was right to speak when someone was singing?! And oh my gosh, all the frakin’ commercial breaks!!! Sure, I could watch online but we have a nice TV and why shouldn’t we watch it on our TV?
