Happy first of 2013!

My first song played of 2013: “Hell on Wheels” – Brantley Gilbert (appropriate because we were in the car to go home and I was driving…)

My second song played of 2013: “Overdose” – Ed Quinn (because I just had to mention him in my first post of the year)

We rang in the new year thusly…

a few minutes before midnight

My good friend Debbie invited us to a party at her place for New Year’s Eve. It was a great time of just hanging out, eating too much, drinking a little, and chatting the night away. I tried not to eat too much and I think I did a good job of eating in shifts. LOL

The men played poker and took it to nearly midnight, so good on them! LOL… Come midnight the tv was switched from a video game to the ball dropping and the party counted down the seconds to the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013. Yah!

We went outside and lit the night with sparklers for a few minutes. Good times! 🙂

We ended our early morning there playing a game of Logo. Twas Debbie, Cassady, Phil, Richard, and me. I totally lost! Debbie won. 😀

The drive home was clear and uneventful. No cops on Vasco and hardly any cars to distract me. 🙂

I don’t have any solid resolutions except to LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE. And okay, spread the love of my fellas. 😀
