Sleepy Hollow – First, I was super entertained by this recap. Go on read it… Love those recaps!… Anyhoo, another excellent episode. It made me jump because sandman was pretty creepy! As was the eye turning to sand. Ewwwwwww!… I am probably the only one who does not question Ichabod’s attire, mostly because they treated us with that short sequence of him washing his clothes and drying them with a blowdryer. So for now, I’ll buy it. But I would also buy him in a nice pair of jeans and boots and perhaps a t-shirt topped with a longish leather jacket. Oh, and keep the hair and scruff. Rarr… Wait, what was I saying? Oh yes, the episode. The sandman creeped me out, the prelude to the dream sequence made me laugh a little (especially after reading the aforementioned recap). The end with Captain Irving was a bit strange. He doesn’t mind that they’re using the storage area? What the heck?!… I’m going to keep watching. I like the characters, I like the stories, I like the creepiness, I like the British accent… 😉 I think the best bet with this show is to not take it too seriously. Enjoy the freaky ride!..
The Blacklist – I hadn’t planned on watching this but it’s a good show! James Spader freakin’ rocks. I love the ambiguity of his character. Is he good? Is he bad? Does it even matter? Isabella Rossellini was awesome in her guest turn!… Here’s my theory (which is probably what we’re supposed to think) – Elizabeth is Reddington’s daughter. How she doesn’t know this is probably the real mystery, eh? The hints are hardly subtle but it’s kinda nice that they’re not saying it yet…
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – I am enjoying this show. I think I’ll be glad when the team is more team oriented. Until then, I will just love the way Agent Coulson keeps saying, “It’s a magical place” whenever he talks about Tahiti. 😉
How I Met Your Mother – Is it wrong that I just want this show to end? At least show us more of the Mother! I know I should just savor these last episodes but I think this show might have gone on a season longer than it should have. Doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it, because I do, but MEET THE MOTHER ALREADY!!!
New Girl – I LOVE this show. Ohhh Schmidt, he so did Cece SO WRONG. Why didn’t he just break up with Elizabeth when he had the chance?… I love the crazy coupling of Jess and Nick. I hope they keep it slightly playful for awhile. I don’t want the drama too soon!… And Winston, poor Winston. What the heck is going on with him? I think he’s always been a little crazy but it’s really coming out this season and I like it!
