So how did you spend your last day of 2014? Here’s what I did:
- Woke up my usual workday time, got ready for work, then spent four hours at my desk passing out paychecks to those people who don’t have direct deposit. Why don’t more people have direct deposit?!
- Went to lunch at Black Angus and saw our usual gal (Jessica) bartending even though she’s the evening bartender any other time. Good for her? 🙂 I had two glasses of Pinot Grigio along with my delicious lunch!
- Went to Buffalo Wild Wings for Happy Hour and saw the bartender who always remembers us (Hunter). We watched some football and had some drinks. I think I had one or two too many. (three Captain and Cokes, one Dark Mule) But it was fun! LOL I was pretty happy by the time we headed back home.
- Took a long nap and woke up in time to watch the old year out and the new year in.
And today we’ve watched an inordinate amount of college football. We’re still watching it now! I woke up hungover but oh well! We didn’t have anywhere to go today. 😉
I’ve decided that I will only write one poem per post. So if I don’t write one day, then no poem for that day. If I write everyday, then I will likely write a poem each day. So we shall see how that goes. 🙂
