Alice's WGL Convention Experiences
Alice, one of the first people to join the WGL mailing list, has graciously allowed me to post a few of her convention pictures. I've combed through previous posts from the mailing list and added them as her comments here.
THANK YOU ALICE! :)

PALO ALTO 2000
[I asked the list "Did anyone else on the list make it to the Palo Alto con? If so, what did you think of it?" Alice's answer follows.]
I thought it was so fun. This was my third Xena Con and it has been really neat. I must confess that the real reason I came was to meet Greg, since I had met the other girls, except Hudson. I felt it would be special to see someone at their first convention. He was a great sport. I was a little disappointed that not too many people were there on Sunday. I say if you are a fan of the Xena show than you should be supportive of all the actors in what ever they do. I am a great fan of anything that any of the Ren Pic actors do...including Kevin Sorbo and his new show. I have met a lot of nice fans at the three cons and all the actors have been nothing less than sweeter than sweet. Even Ebonie's mother is a joy to talk to. I met her in Pasadena and I was so happy that she was here in Palo Alto.
But back to Greg, since this is his group. When I asked him about how it felt to play the son of Joxer, I felt like we could have just sat down and talked forever. He kept going on and on. He really showed that he was genuinely interested in his fans. Then, taking pictures of him was just amazing! He kissed and hugged all his fans. I have pictures both 35mm, which will be on-line soon and some polaroids, since I can't wait for the pictures to be developed. If anyone has pics of me putting the lei on Greg, that would be really cool to see. I know there were pictures taken because I saw all the flashes go off when I came up on stage. (Just a note, if you are planning to go to Pasadena, the people who put on the convention are not as liberal about hugs and kisses for the fans as they were in the smaller conventions. This is from experience.) Oh yeah, I forgot that I did give him a kiss when I put the lei on him. He doesn't seem pretentious at all, like you would think Hollywood does to people. I was just totally impressed on how he worked with the audience. He did mention that he would be at Pasadena next year. Let's remember to take a six pack of Aquafina for him. (he, he!) Sorry, I like to plan ahead. And I like to write, too.
