This convention was full circle for me. The first H/X convention I attended was the San Francisco one back in 1997, where Michael Hurst made his first appearance. He did not make another appearance until this con, where he did admit that he didn't think he would do another con after his first one. I am so very glad he made the trek to this one. His time on stage was worth all the aggravation that naturally comes from attending conventions. He made us laugh with his impressions of the Widow Twanky, then he mesmerized us with a speech from Hamlet (Act II, Scene ii, the last speech).
There are really no words to discribe the utter gift of Michael Hurst...
