I don’t know why I can’t seem to get myself back to writing weekly. I missed the whole month of April! I remember when it was my favorite month and I just let it pass without at least noting our 29th wedding anniversary. What the heck.
I wonder if it’s restlessness that has compelled me to start using my digicams again. I was carrying the SonyDSC W830 for awhile and then yesterday I found my SonyDSC W350. I decided to take it to work today to take some random pictures. The quality isn’t as nice as the W830 but the W350 does start up right away. I’m going to carry it for awhile more to get more variety of shots.
Our payroll technician A is back at work and I AM SO HAPPY! It’s great to see her again and I’m sure it’s a relief to her department. It’s just great to have her back, especially since this probably means that I won’t have to cover the front desk for lunch anymore since the regular coverage can go back to her spot, which includes covering the front desk for lunch. Right? Right! The important thing is that A is back and I’m so happy!
I saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 twice this past weekend. Yes, it was that good. A fitting end to the GotG trilogy, somewhat bittersweet but definitely heartfelt. I do hope to see it one more time in the theatre, hopefully with R, if I can convince him.
R is finally back in California after going to the Kentucky Derby this weekend. He left last Tuesday and it wasn’t as bad as when he’s on the river. We messaged everyday and he even sent some pictures here and there. Miracle! I did a lot of laundry while he was gone so I was somewhat constructive. But I didn’t talk to anyone but my mother this weekend and it was just a short talk. The last people I talked with before today were my cousins on Friday night at dinner. Interesting.
I’m closing this super random, disconnected post now. It’s getting dark in this room and I might think about writing on my Chromebook…
