maybe this could have been
more than what it is
a meeting conjured by chance
nothing more than this
maybe a little hesitation
would have changed our course
absent of manipulation
anticipation new and unforced
maybe this could have been
something so much more
guided by the hand of fate
deep into this dreamโs core
The weekend went by too fast. I say this even though I was off from work three days last week (Wednesday through Friday). I slept a lot during my time off. ๐
I did receive my replacement Droid. My 2nd one. I don’t know if I’m just pushing my phone but it’s not as quick as it could be. Alas. I think I just want a new phone period. I think I even almost regret not taking the Palm Pre. Ye gods!
Bitch Slap is on Netflix Instant in HD!!!
Greg’s character is pretty wild in this movie. It’s a strange and crazy movie but fun to watch in all its cheesiness. ๐
We finished watching STARGATE ATLANTIS. I didn’t watch every single episode but I did see the bulk of it and I think I can safely say that I will miss it. It was greatly adventuresome and funny and serious and touching and fantastic. Reminds me of my days of watching STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. I would not compare the two, of couse, but the feeling of attachment is almost the same. I must say, STARGATE ATLANTIS and STARGATE UNIVERSE are such opposites. Maybe it’s not fair to compare but I very much enjoyed STA more than I enjoy STU. Just my opinion. I won’t say one is better than the other. I just know which one I prefer. Plus Joe Flanigan is kinda cute. (Yes, there, I said it. Geez.)
As for STU, the characters are complex and complicated and dare I say not very likable. I get it, they’re all stuck with each other and they may not like each other. But can’t we have more than one character who has good intentions? Why must everyone have an agenda? I do like Eli, Lt. Scott, and Lt. Johansen. And Rush draws you in with his near insane genius. It’s just that everything seems so forced between all the characters. Why can’t they just get along?!
