The All Blacks win

creep back to your hole

creep back to your hole
dry those sad crocodile tears
remember your lies

finally laid to rest

The ashes of my father-in-law have finally been laid to rest. It’s been two years since he died and it’s nice to know that his remains are in a nice place. He’s now at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. It’s a quiet place, almost in the middle of nowhere (apologies to anyone who might live in Dixon). It’s peaceful and clean. A good last resting place.

the dedication

I have words about our last moments at the cemetery but I will leave that for a private post just in case the person in question happens upon this. Then again, I almost want the person to read what I have to say because then it can be out there for all the world to see.

But I won’t.

All I will say is that the poem above is reaction to those last moments at the cemetery.
