- It was Friday.
- It was jeans day.
- It was jersey day.
- It was luncheon day.
- It was PAY DAY!!!
All that adds up to a good day! LOL!
Our luncheon (we have a quarterly one) was baseball themed this time around, specifically “Let’s Go Giants.” You know, because they wear orange and black and this weekend is Halloween. Oh, and they’re in the World Series. LOL!
after eating too much
As you can see, I went with my favorite team, the Oakland Athletics. I only have one piece of Giants gear, a black beanie and I’m not sure where it is right now. Of course, I got a lot of “Oh, you’re wearing the A’s!” as if I should have been wearing Giants stuff. I had to respond, “I’m not a Giants fan.” (I don’t think I need to tell you which team is my NL team.)
I wasn’t the only one who stuck to her guns as far as showing team spirit. The Dodger fan wore her jersey as well. 😛
We had ballpark food– hot dogs, links, potato salad, nachos, peanuts, Cracker Jack, Its It, and chili. There was salad too but I didn’t have any. LOL!
I love when our quarterly luncheons fall on Fridays and pay days and jeans days. 😉
