let the last tears fall now
let the sun warm the skin
let the breeze blow soft
let that bit of light in
won’t you smile again
won’t you laugh again
won’t you dream again
won’t you love again
don’t lock yourself away
casting aside the world
don’t push your pain away
heal and rise from the hurt
yes, you’ll smile again
yes, you’ll laugh again
yes, you’ll dream again
yes, you’ll love again
let the last tears fall now
let the music play
let the sun warm the skin
let joy light this day
The sun shines here this morning. And across the country in Georgia, the funeral for Glenroy Rolston Walker, Jr. begins. My heart and hopes with the family and friends who gather to remember Glen. I wish I could be there to say goodbye. Or better yet, until next time.
